Game of the Goose XXII, XXIII, XXIV
These three panels are pa of the collective embroidery
project developed for Homo Faber 2024: The Journey of Life.
The design was created by Nigel Peake and is inspired by the
Game of the Goose, a boardgame that is thought to have
originated in Italy as far back as the 15th century. In the game,
Goose and Hazard spaces symbolise the good and bad foune
that fate has in store for all of us over the course of a lifetime.

Embroidery in Raia, metallic thread and agave embroidery on
coon canvas.
Each panel is 90W x 90H cm.
