The Blueprint to a Life, 2023
Ali Tnani
Based on Ali Tnanni’s drawings, an embroidered wool blanket was
developed and embroidered in a collaborative eo as pa of the
aist’s installation at the October 2023 ‘Hirafen’ Exhibition,
gathering Tunisian and International contemporary aists to
collaborate with aisans from Tunisia, curated by Ludovic Delalande
and Nadia Jelasssi.
This installation was developed from an imaginary intersection of
two stories by aisans from El Jem and Mahdia: ‘Selma Heb Errih’
the weaver and ‘Saïda Bahri’ the embroiderer.
The HIRAFEN exhibition was organized by the Talan Foundation in
panership with the Aicha Gorgi Gallery.
