Hannon in the Land of Thirst, 2024
Louis Bahélémy
Entirely handcrafted in Mahdia, Tunisia, this tapestry
combines threads, textures and traditional Tunisian
embroidery techniques on a light peach colored hand-woven

Lamia Bousnina Gallery, oering a poignant reflection on the
historical and contemporary transformations of the Sahara
and Tunisia.
The tapestry was first showed during the Abu Dhabi A Fair
2024 with the Lamia Bousnina Gallery.
Materials: Sisal, Raia, Sheep Wool, Camel Wool, Flij, Coon,
Bronze Lamella, Modal, Silk, Lurex, and Mohair threads.
